Meet your compassionate guide to regulation and healing.
I'm Brittany Piper, a survivor turned trauma trained Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner and speaker.
MY STORY
MY STORY
I know from first-hand experience that healing is not one size fits all.
The complexity of trauma requires a complex response. This awareness has fueled my commitment to empowering my clients with a diverse set of modalities for growth. With this mission in mind, I have advanced qualifications in: Somatic Experiencing®, complex trauma, polyvagal theory, nervous system regulation, attachment & internal family systems.
Like many healing practitioners, my story in the trauma space began with my own personal recovery. Since 2004, my path to healing has taken me a profound journey of compassionately understanding the imprints of trauma--both for myself and others. Now, after 18 years of personal healing, training, education, and hands-on work all over the globe, I bring to you the resources I wish I could have had, all those years ago.
Outside of the trauma and somatics space, I'm still wholeheartedly committed to my healing, while also juggling the beauties of: motherhood, marriage, and being an international speaker and advocate on sexual violence prevention & recovery. Regardless of the role I'm in, I've always been guided by my own north star...to help others feel seen, heard, valued and a lot less alone.

The Body-First Healing Program supports survivors in coming to terms with their past, through cultivating a healing present. We focus on their current life and how trauma is affecting them today. Our aim is to help clients build up their strengths, healthy beliefs, and positive coping strategies rather than just extinguishing “negative” behaviors and beliefs. The essence of our teaching is to allow survivors to compassionately understand themselves, to see themselves as human, and to recognize that the way they survived past the pain makes complete sense. The lens through which we accomplish this work includes: nervous system regulation, brain-body connection, Somatic Experiencing®, attachments, and more!

I first started working in the trauma space in 2006. I have been educating & training on the effects of trauma since 2011. And I’ve been working as a Trauma Trained Practitioner since 2016. In addition, my personal recovery from Complex Trauma over the past 20 years guides much of my work.
